Lesson learnt

Hello! Im sad to say that I lost my phone yesterday morning while I was at the gym.

I have a few backdated entries which I wanted to post but I guess I'll just skip them because I lost all my photos:(

I guess I can only take this incident as a lesson learnt. I was rushing to attend my 9.30 am class yesterday. I was early for the class initially, but the lift broke down so I went by the stairs to the sixth storey. When I reached my gym, it was 9.30 already. I quickly put all my things down on the bench in the changing room then started arranging them into my locker. I think at that moment , my towel was covering my phone so i forgot to put it into my locker. Afterwards, I took my towel and rushed to class. I was one of the latest to enter the class.. And about 5 minutes after the class started, I realized that my phone was not with me and I had zero memory of putting it into my locker.. But due to my super egotistic personality, I refused to leave the class to check out the bench cause it is super paiseh to leave the class halfway. And I was rather confident of myself cause I'd never been so careless.

That class however, was the worst class I've ever attended (not saying this because I lost my phone). I couldn't catch up with the moves cause when my teacher asked if anybody was a first timer, I did not raise my hands high enough.. And throughout the class, I was just awkwardly dancing like a duck -_-

After the class, I headed to the lockers straight away to check if I left my phone in my lockers.. It wasn't there.. And I felt so stupid to think that it would still be on the bench after an hour LOL. So I headed to the counter to ask if anybody reported my phone, and there wasn't anyone.. Then Rachel helped me to call my phone and it was already shut down. It was only until then that it hit me that my phone was gone for good.

Ofc, there are as many good people around as the number of bad people. I started asking people if they saw my phone. Some of the ladies were very kind and helped me ask around too. One even offered me her phone to track my phone using the find my iphone app, which proves to be useless cause my phone couldn't be tracked as it was already offline.

But I must say that one lady really made me very touched because she was really kind and even helped me ask the counter people to ask all the gym members whether they saw my phone before they leave. Its like she was more worried than I am. And I must admit that I wouldn't be as helpful as her if a stranger lost her phone.

So I guess its a rather big lesson cause I have no phone now and all my memories are gone.
But I guess I can feel from this incident that who really cares and who doesn't because only a few of my friends tried contacting me :')

So I guess it shows how 'important' I am to most people :')

Anyway, here's a photo of my ootd a few days back. Luckily I posted it on lookbook already so I still have a softcopy of it..

How I spent my sartuday

Met up with 4/6'13 peeps ytd for a quick lunch!

Dined at hot tomato and yes, I took photo of my food. But I was so 腻 of it in the end that even when I look at the photo now I feel sick so I shall not post it.

Felt a little left out during the lunch cause most of them were in JCs and could talk about their orientation etc. HAIS:(

But nevertheless, it was still a nice day with them^^

Metup with junyuan,Kwan Wei and wenyi afterwards and we headed to Somerset to catch 'don't click'.

While we were heading towards Ceineleisure, wenyi and I stood under the shade to wait for the traffic light while kw and jy went ahead to wait for the traffic light and here's the interesting part..

There were some students having some activity and they spotted them. So they were approached and asked to join the lovers category for a run/marathon HAHAHAH *inserts a million smirk faces.

Then they wanted to capture a photo of them tgt but somehow wenyi and I are dragged into it as well hahaha >.< 

After we bought our tickets, we went to scape and took some neoprints. Haven't taken one for about two years omg:x and poor Junyuan was dragged into this HAHAHAH OOPS

Then we headed to Tea Tozz where they allowed us to take as much toppings as we wanted for our drink. I kinda thought that the pop balls looked like water babies and disgusted all of them with my thought hehe.

Then we headed to watch the movie and it stressed me out so much that I cried. Really cannot watch horror movies :( but there was one part where I shocked wenyi cause I grabbed her hand suddenly cause I was too scared hahaha sorry >.<"

So excited to say that Nuffnang is going to turn seven! I've joined nuffnang for about a year now and I'm proud to say that I love nuffnang!

Another Event that I attended was to watch Plane's premium screening!  Went to Jasmine for that event too and we ended up reviving a little of our childhood as we got ourselves cotton candy and balloons that day! It was super memorable cause it was probably our first time staying out so late on a school day!

I must really say that Nuffnang gave me a sort of motivation to continue blogging as it increased my blog stats as I blog more regularly after I joined Nuffnang! It kinda made me feel good (安慰-ed) because I  know that people actually bother reading what I write and that's what made me continue blogging on a regular basis. Used to have a blog in primary school when I didn't join nuffnang. I would blog only once in a blue moon and it didn't last long. But I've had this blog since last year and its still surviving :') 

Also, Nuffnang is really easy to use and we do not need to post daily adverts on our other social media accs that make us appear too despo. All we need to do is just to place it in our blog and that's it! Blogging is something I love and earning money from it is like a plus benefit given to me by nuffnang:D

Really hope I get a chance to be part of nuffnang's Birthday Bash this year!

V day!

11: Last movie I saw in theatres was the lion men! It was a rather nice movie cause the dances were very nice! But I think its a little too long and got boring at times.. But overall still quite nice.

Two days ago was Valentine's day! Celebrated mine with my friends^^

Before doing this post, I had no idea that I can put my music on shuffle using musicFM (the app I use for music). And yup, almost all my songs are in Chinese.

I'm still stuck here and I've already given it up for two days ha ha :(

Day nine

How important I think education is.

To me, basic education is very important. Like communication skills and some simple mathematics. Communication skills are definitely a must to learn in education.

 For example, I was in Malaysia the other day and this Malay guy approached me and starting talking a super long string of Malay. I had no idea what he was saying and I said  "saya tak tau malayu" ( I don't know Malay In Malay ) then he still continued talking LOL. I don't know whether I said it wrongly or what but it definitely made me feel the importance of communication skills. 

I think education is quite important cause it gives us a better job in future(?) -according to many people anyw. 

And I also think that people should have some knowledge if not its kinda sad..

Okay I don't wanna sound like I'm writing an argumentative essay here so I shall stop hehe.

Anyw, here's a family photo when I was in Malaysia! I was bathing when they wanted to take a photo so I guess that explains why I am holding a towel :')

Day eight

I WANT THIS

8. What I hope my future will be like.

Well, one of my hopes for the future is to get into a uni. Guess it's not really my hope but more of my parents'. But I don't wish to disappoint them so I guess I'll work very hard to get into a uni. But definitely in future, I hope to start a business. It doesn't have to be big, but just something that I'm able to call my own. Another hopes is that I wish I'll be able to purchase a house when I'm 35 yo(if I remain single) or 28yo (if I ever get married)

Im typing out this post as I am on a five hour bus journey to my grandparents' (mum's side) house in Malaysia so I guess I can write a rather long entry.

Did my cny nails two days ago after work. I wanted them to dry quickly so I painted a layer of gel polish over it. My nails ended up shinier than usual YAY.

Did my toenails too! Didn't apply gel topcoat over it though. I guess its cause previously, about two years ago, I painted my toenails with gel polish continuously for about half a year or more. Then I got infected with some fungus and I had athlete foot. It was one of the shittiest period of my life and I wanted to scratch my feet off every night.

Chinese New Year eve selfie:

31st jan

Woke up feeling super sick yesterday. However I couldn't skip work cause two days before, I told Lulu (my supervisor) that I will fake sick and take mc and not work on cny eve jokingly , and she said that if I didn't come on cny eve, she will know that I'm faking:') so my 乌鸦嘴 came through and I really fell sick:( felt super terrible during work but I managed to pull through :')

It was the last day I'm working with imbran so I took a photo with him!

So today, I woke up at about 9 and rushed off to my grand's(dad's side)  house which was at yishun to have lunch.

There were many goodies but everybody just told me not to eat :')

Ended up eating many chocolates and gummy worms anyw:p

My 初一 outfit. And in case you're wondering, I'm holding a beanie :D

Rushed home to pack my luggage and went out in about an hour or so. Reached Malaysia's custom at about 2.30pm but there were many people and we had to wait for super long. Queued at the wrong line and we had to requeue:') 

Crossed the custom at about 3.15 and we rushed to wait for the bus. But the bus didn't come and we rushed to city square to take a cab. On the way there, a taxi driver said he could bring us to Larkin at a fare of RM40. My mum almost agreed to his unreasonable request but I quickly pulled her away and we went to the taxi stand, which was only 2 minutes away. The taxi ticket only costed RM16. I still remember the last time I went to KSL with my mum and we got charged rm13 when the fare was only about rm7 so I guess it was a good lesson learnt since we did not get scammed this time. When we reached the Larkin, it was 3.57pm already and we quickly rushed to find our bus cause it leaves at 4:') 

At about 5.30pm, the driver stopped at some eating place and gave us 20minutes to eat and do whatever business we had to do. Ordered a bowl of mee rubus and ate with a speed that might win world Guinness record ;')

I really wish I can fall asleep now cause I've been staring into space for the past 2.5 hours and still unable to fall alseep:(

2nd feb 1am

Wanted to upload this post (above) just now but I only had access to wifi for about half an hour jn so I guess I'll continue from here.

For 初一 night, I had fun playing with fireworks, sparklers, firecrackers and many more :D

Woke up feeling sick on 初二 and I went back to sleep after eating until about 5pm. So practically my chuer was spent doing nothing:( 

And now here I am, still sick but can't fall asleep.
