How I celebrate Halloween

It's kinda sad how Singapore does not celebrate Halloween on a big scale so I was super excited for Halloween Horror's Night 4 this year!

The initial plan was to go there with Krystal only but we joined Glenna, Nicole, Shun Hui, YuXian and WeiKian there because it seemed too scary for only two of us. Plus its always the more the merrier! ^^

I really liked the ambience at 7.30-7.50pm, whereby everybody was crowded at the entry point of USS, watching the Live broadcasted "news" on how the place was being attacked to kick start the night. It really had the Halloween feel which we could not get elsewhere in Singapore. I would suggest all those who are going to arrive on time to watch it. It was quite worth it despite the huge crowd.

Saw a super pretty nurse so I decided to take a photo of her. Sadly, my camera's noise level was too high under night lightings:(
Brain Juice anyone?
We went to 1 haunted house(The Lab) and about 3 scare zones that night. The haunted house was quite alright at first because there were many people and hence, I did not feel as scared. However, in the middle, we were separated from the crowd and that was when I started feeling a little frightened.

Heres a little tip I realised.. If you are scared, try to appear alright so the scarers won't bother scaring you more :p

Love this group photo cause the girls look so funny with the hands on the leg and the guys so act fierce HAHAH.
We were tired from walking hence we settled down at the fast food stall. While eating, there were some scare actors running around outside the stall to pose. I think this idea is really cool because the halloween feel don't stop even when we were eating!

The Jack's Circus show is a must watch because the performers were really skilled and the show was so thrilling throughout! The performers must have worked super hard for it, especially the skaters! I've uploaded a short Vlog about my halloween Night so do view and subscribe!

Great Night
It was a really awesome night and I think everyone should go USS Horror Night at least once :))

Catch'N'Bite

Are you a huge seafood lover? Because I am!!
Prawns and crabs are my favourite seafood but I really hate it when I have to de-shell them :<

Catch ‘N BiteA takeaway store situated in Westgate Mall. The friendly sandwich store specialises in seafood sandwiches, bento sets and tapas using the finest ingredients. It all started off when there was an absence of an affordable and fuss-free way to enjoy seafood. Henceforth, Catch ‘N Bite birthed forth.

I was really excited when TIN invited me to try out Catch 'N' Bite because they have soft shell crabs as their signature dish!! I've never eaten one before so it seemed quite impossible to me at first. How is it that we can eat crabs with their shells(Even if they are soft)?

Here's their exciting menu! All of the dishes are very affordable for quality seafood!

Some of their best dishes. Just look at that crab yumm!

12 different seafood tarts!

I ordered Crunchin' Crab sandwich, Sour Cream Salmon tart and fried shrimps to start off.
I was pleasantly surprised because the middle of the crab was really juicy and the meat was so delicate. I didn't expect so much crabmeat in my burger because it only cost $8.90 and it just seemed too cheap for a real crab!!
Bento Set

Crunchin' Crab Sandwich
The tarts were really delicious and I ordered second servings! Had Mango Chutney Shrimp and Lobster Ebiko tarts.
Out of all three, I would suggest you all to try the Mango Chutney Shrimp one because the taste is really unique!
Sour Cream Salmon Tart

Wanted to try out their highly raved clam soup which are made of real lobster stock and no MSG but they were out of stock when I ordered. :((

Met Bernice and her friend, Cassandra that day too <3

William and Dennis
Lastly, best thing about Catch 'N' Bite is that they are halal certified! :D All of us can enjoy now great seafood!!

Now, special treat for my readers! CatchNBite has kindly offered all my readers a FREE Egg Mayo Ebiko Tart when you all quote "ChristineCatchNBite" upon purchase of any sandwich from the menu!

Shall end off this post with my selfie cause there seemed to be none in this post hehehe.
Thanks for reading <3

Trickeye Museum Resorts World Sentosa

Thanks to TIN, I got a chance to visit TrickEye Museum! Brought Doreen along with me and it was a super good choice because she was very daring to pose for photos which made me less shy to do so too! I'll be separating this blog post into two parts so it won't be that lengthy!

I'm sure everybody have heard of it since its arrival in Singapore so there is no need for me to explain into too much details. It is basically a museum that turns two-dimensional paintings into three-dimensional images through the use of optical illusions. (And its the first museum that I didn't get bored of)

----------
Once upon a time, there was a girl named Christine.  She lived in a kampong called Singapong. Singapong is a beautiful place which has a long stretch of river with gigantic water lilies.

Everything was wonderful until one day, she saw an evil spirit and played catching with it. The evil spirit lost and she wanted to play a trick on it. So, she pulled its pants off.
Out of anger and embarrassment, the evil spirit turned Singapong River into a lava river.

The river destroyed everything overnight. Christine lost her family and friends and headed out to another Kampong. She had no choice but to beg in the streets for a living.

She begged for three years until a tourist came, took pity on her and decided to bring her along his journey.

He was a ballet teacher and taught her his dancing skills.
To impress him, she took on latin dancing.

Her dance partner, Emily, fell in love with her unexpectedly..

Christine was however deeply in love with her dance teacher..

She wanted to give up latin dancing because she wanted to avoid awkwardness with Emily. Disappointed in her lack of passion, the dance teacher left her.

No matter how much she begged, he never came back.

Devastated, Christine left the Kampong and headed to another Kampong. She found a job in the circus there and learnt some tricks.

Effortless handstand.

Just when she thought she could settle down....
Emily sent a giant baby to take revenge on Christine for breaking her heart.

She was thrown into a tiny dungeon and later, pulled away by Emily..

To her surprise, Christine's head fell off.

Emily was so shocked that she tied Christine to an elephant and tried to throw both of them down a cliff. Christine hung on for dear life...
but she couldn't hold on anymore and eventually let go of the elephant.. falling into..

Poof..!  a dolphin appeared and saved her from being lunch.

She was so afraid and so she wished: "I wish to go to a place where nobody knows me and I can start anew"
Poseidon(god of sea) heard her and turned her into a mermaid.

And she lived in the ocean happily ever after.. (at least she thought so....)
