ASUS Zenfone Max

So excited to share with you all that I just received ASUS ZenFone Max! It's my first time in many years using a phone that is not running on IOS system so I'm looking forward to see what ASUS ZenFone Max can bring to me.

Today it the third day since I received it and one feature of it I must compliment would be its powerful battery life.

I've only charged it once since I received it and it still has 82% as I'm typing this out. With its 5000 mAh capacity lithium-polymer battery, ASUS ZenFone Max is able to provide up to 38 days of standby for an unprecedented amount of mobile freedom.

Compared to the leading competitor’s flagship smartphone, ASUS ZenFone Max's 5000mAh battery offers 2.3X-better talk time and up to 2.7X as much time spent browsing the web. This translates to up to 37.6 hours of high-clarity calls and up to 32.5 hours of websurfing!

Another attractive feature would be its ability to charge other phones. On the first day I receive it, I used it to power my iPhone as I forgot to charge that the night before. I'm really glad for this function as it would mean that I do not need to carry any power bank in future.

Despite being only 5.2mm, ASUS ZenFone Max is powered by a powerful quad-core, 64-bit Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 410 processor, features LTE Category 4 for fast mobile-download speeds up to 150Mbps!

I'm very in love with the champagne gold sides coupled with the black glossy screen of my phone as it made the phone feels luxurious to the touch.

If you are worried of scratches on your screen or is a bit of a butter fingers like me, you will be glad to know that ASUS ZenFone Max is protected by Corning ® Gorilla ® Glass 4.

Corning ® Gorilla ® Glass 4, being the latest ingenious creation from the world-renowned Corning, is able to offer twice (2X) the drop-damage resistance of its predecessor, a 2.5x increase in retained strength and is 85% less likely to break in daily use.

*Note: phone has a black glossy screen but I edited the colors of the above photo slightly and hence it appeared to be mattified.

Having a 13MP Pixel Master rear camera with a f/2.0-aperture lens, ASUS ZenFone Max is capable of capturing high resolution photos with zero shutter lag. It also has a low light mode which I'm really excited to try out as this would mean having prettier photos without the glare of a flash in low light settings.

Its front camera has 5 MP f/2.0-aperture,  85-degree wide-angle lens and of course, the most attractive feature is its beautification mode which I can use to take beautiful selfies with!

Whether you are looking for a phone to complement casual or business attire, ASUS ZenFone Max comes in Pure White and Osmium black, which are the colors that will never go wrong!

ASUS Zenfone Max will be available from 10 March 2016 at 10 March at IT show, ASUS brand stores, ASUS authorised dealers, Singtel, and StarHub at an affordable price of $249.

Of course, I cannot conclude much about the phone with only three days of usage, I'll
